Inevitably when we tell parents we have developed an iphone app, we get a bunch of ideas about what features they want. That’s the fun part about working on products that your friends use.
A follow-on question is usually, what will we be adding next to our app?
Our current thinking is that we won’t be adding a whole bunch of new features, etc. We do have loads of ideas around other features that we think kids will like. Some are crazy and should never see the light of day. Others are a bit more difficult to weed out. We’ve thought about generating reports for parents to see what their kids watch or starting a mini-social network to share what your kids are watching with their friends.
But for now, we are going to put those ideas on the back-burner and continue to learn what works best for you all. We are learning that search is less useful than we had hoped. We now know some more about usage patterns during the week (seems like weekends are big days for WeetWoo!).
Our content will continue to be refreshed. We are looking at ways to help your kids discover some of the great videos they may not regularly see, as well help your kids see the videos they always want to see. Over the next several days, we’ll review some of the feedback we’ve been receiving. As always, let us know what you think.
